MRMC’s Surgical Department features three operating rooms and two procedure rooms for minor procedures.

All nursing staff is PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.

The Surgeons of Mercy Regional Medical Center represent specialties such as: General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Endoscopy (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, & Stretta), and Anesthesiology. MRMC provides the latest procedures with top-of-the-line technology and equipment

Outpatient Surgery: 

Specializes in small bedside procedures such as PICC Line insertions, PEG tub exchanges, Ultrasound Guided Paracentesis and Thoracentesis, and Bone Marrow Biopsies’.
